Unorganised sector? Not so much!

You might want to think twice before becoming strict with your domestic help or arguing with your local rickshaw /taxi driver or they may rush to their union!

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing to initiate a union called ‘Bharatiya Janata Asanghatith Kamgarh Union’ which will address concerns of drivers, taxi drivers, domestic helps, daily wage labourers and other members of the ‘unorganized sector’ who work on a daily wage basis.

The idea stems from the thought that though there is a large chunk of people belonging to this section, nobody seems to care about. This will be a way their problems can be identified and apt solutions offered. Interestingly there are about 34% of people in Delhi who belong to this sector and over 240 million around the country. Majority of the crowd belongs to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and minorities. The challenge however will be to make adequate arrangements to assemble the concerned and start off this movement. Once this is done their issues and problems can then reach the government for appropriate action.
