Oxfordcaps, a tech-based student housing company, has set up an all-women support center in an effort to create opportunities for women in the workforce. Co-founded by Annu Talreja and Priyanka Gera, this housing providing platform plans to expand in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Greater Noida, Dehradun, Indore, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad.

In partnership with SHEROES, the student housing portal plans to drive its customer-facing side of business by certifying the women employees behind the customer support desk and enhancing the quality of customer care.

“Apart from having extremely talented women in our workforce, our partnership with SHEROES will now ensure that our customer support center is run entirely by women,” said Annu Talreja, CEO of Oxfordcaps. “These women will be a part of Oxfordcaps’ customer support center as they have the required skill set in customer servicing.”

This initiative is a part of a program to bring back women to work who usually end up leaving the active workforce due to several reasons such as milestones like marriage and maternity or in order to care for the elderly.

The working hours are flexible and women employees on the customer support team can also avail work from home options. As an international student housing provider, Oxfordcaps caters to Gen Z and millennial students in both India and Singapore.
