Joeman Thomas is the new acting MD of ONGC Videsh
The overseas offshoot of state owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) gets a new acting Managing Director Joeman Thomas, effective 01st March 2011. Thomas is Director (Exploration) in OVL and will hold the additional charge of the company after R.S. Butola moved to Indian Oil Corp (IOC) as Chairman. Thomas is a post graduate in Applied Geology from IIT, Powai, Bombay, he joined as a Graduate Trainee in ONGC in 1976.
