TalentSprint Wins Award for ‘Leadership in Skill Development’

Fresh graduates everywhere are facing an uphill challenge in terms of securing a job

TalentSprint, a leader in professional skill development and integrated talent management received the award for ‘Leadership in Skill Development’ at the recently held 3rdHigher Education Summit & Awards for Excellence organized by Indian Education Network (IEN). The chief guest at the event was Mr. Dilip Chenoy, MD & CEO of National Skill Development Corporation. TalentSprint received this award for skilling 100,000 young professionals from across the country over the last 5 years.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Santanu Paul, MD and CEO, TalentSprint said, “Fresh graduates everywhere are facing an uphill challenge in terms of securing a job. Studies indicate that just less than a quarter of students graduating in a year are actually employable. In addition, the numbers of graduates coming out of Indian colleges exceed the number of available aspirational jobs by a significant margin. TalentSprint is committed to providing industry ready job skills to these young graduates and fulfilling their dream of getting a job in the exciting world of Information Technology and Banking. This recognition is a testimony to our effort and we are delighted to win this award.”

Mr Dilip Chenoy, MD & CEO, National Skill Development Corporation further added, “The country is at a tipping point in its developmental stage. Our education system has thrown up many challenges, perhaps the biggest one being, that of matching job seekers’ skills with industry expectations. Over the last year, TalentSprint has grown manifold in its achievement index, both in terms of skilling and placing fresh graduates. I congratulate the team and hope more companies will emulate them. This will help the country leapfrog into the next cycle of economic boom. ”

The awards were presented at a ceremony in New Delhi organized by Indian Education Network early this month.
