The conference theme builds from the past conferences. We looked at the last 14 NHRDN Conferences and saw that the first few conferences focused on HRD as a new concept and HR as a function; the next few focused on globalization and India in the global scenario; the last few have actually focused on change and the uncertain scenario. Today, while we are aware of the change, we need to focus on building capabilities to ride the waves of change. This led us to ‘Live and Breathe the Change’ as the theme of the 2011 Conference.

The overall concept, design and structure of the conference has newness, dynamism, capability and contribution as part of its mission. It has a human aspect to it with a focus on the positive outcome to change. We have created a very ambitious design and members of the organizing team have been living and breathing the change in designing and delivering this conference.
