The three-day conference opens with a discussion on the required mindset of organizations and individuals to prepare for the on-rushing winds of change. ‘The Future of Work, Organization and People’, will be led by Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Prime Minister; Sri Sri Ravishankar, Spiritual Leader; Ed Lawler, Professor, Univeristy of Southern California, along with R. Gopalakrishnan, Director, Tata Sons.

This Conference is designed to address the needs of those, who own and shoulder the responsibility of strengthening the people trust in organizations. The session, ‘Whose business is people’, will be hosted by Anand Shankar, CEO, Aon Hewitt India along with Dr. Santrupt Misra, HR Director, ABG, Bijou Kurien, President & CEO, Reliance Retail and Dr. Chandrasekhar Sripada, VP & Head, HR, IBM (India & South Asia), among others.

As change transforms our daily lives, it is worth taking a peek into the future through the session ‘Emerging technologies and social media, and their impact on our lives’, in two concurrent sessions by Gopalratnam, CIO, Cisco India, and Uppaluri Moorthy, GM, Microsoft; Vivek Paul, Consulting Professor, Stanford University & Steve Cadigan, VP-Talent, LinkedIn. Further, Dave Ulrich will speak on ‘Securing the future of HR & the HR professional’.

‘Building India’s human capital’, by Dilip Chenoy, MD & CEO, NSDC; Naveen Unni, Partner, McKinsey; Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Universal Learning and Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Industries, will showcase the challenges facing India in its need to scale. The session, ‘Overhauling our education system and tapping into diverse talent pools’, will see two concurrent sessions with Dileep Ranjekar, CEO, Azim Premji Foundation; Anand Sudarshan, MD & CEO, Manipal Education; Dr. Pankaj Chandra, Director, IIM (Bangalore); Uma Ganesh, CEO, Global Talent Track; Sean Blagsvedt, Co-founder, Babajob.com and Shekhar Arora, ED, Ashok Leyland.

Lakshminaryanan, Vice Chairman, Cognizant Technologies will share the story of Cognizant’s rapid rise to the top and Dr. Prajapati Trivedi, Secretary, Government of India, will share the case study on ‘Performance management in the Government of India’. The session, ‘Evening with excellence’, will be a tete-e-tete between renowned danseuse, Malavika Sarukkai and theatre personality, Arundhati Nag.

Day three will witness ‘A peep into tomorrow’ showcasing emerging trends and ‘Voice of the youth’. Professor Debashish Chatterjee, Director, IIM (Kozhikode) will argue on ‘Is there an Indian recipe for inspirational leadership’. While Anil Sachdev and Pankaj Bhargava will dwell on ‘Co-creating our future’ as the conference attempts to involve 1000 plus participants in a two-hour interactive session. The conference will end with ‘Charting your own destiny’, which will feature an array of people who have dared to be different.
