HR of AIB releases statement on #MeToo

Co-Founders of All India Bakchod, Tanmay Bhat and Gursimran Khamba will be stepping away from any association of their company All India Bakchod (AIB). 

The development came amid the recent backlash against popular YouTuber Utsav Chakraborty, who was earlier associated with AIB. Chakraborty was accused of harassing women while his tenure with AIB and the Co-Founder and CEO, Tanmay Bhat was aware of his behavior. 

Last week Tanmay Bhat admitted that he not only knew about the allegations of sexual harassment against comedian Utsav Chakraborty but also confronted him in private. 

In the latest development, the #Metoo movement has named many people from different industries. 

The company announcement says, “Both our senior partners are immediately stepping away from all business at AIB, In the interim, Ashish Shakya, Rohan Joshi and other senior team members will work towards being able to answer that question over the next several months.
