Volume hiring will expand

Today, the focus for most HR buyers is to look for a vendor that can provide a wide range of services. As a result of this growing demand for a one-stop solution, consolidation is on the rise in the industry today. In terms of the recruitment industry, talent acquisition has been at the forefront for quite a few years now. But there are certainly new trends that are shaping this landscape as well. For instance, video interviews are growing; social recruitment and referrals have both increased by a large number.

For bulk hiring, there are many assessment companies are coming up. Everyone is looking to recruit; hiring is on the rise, there’s war for talent; so things are good for the recruitment industry. With volume hiring expanding in the country, the focus has already shifted, and will continue, towards technology. Especially with many organizations focusing on niche talent, there has been an increase in the number of niche, especially technology-driven, players in the market that are now looking to ensure not only skill-fit, but also at culture fit.

Recruitment Processing Outsourcing (RPO) is also huge in India. With the focus shifting a lot more towards strategic HR and business partner, companies will have to outsource many of their processes.
