The People Matters Talent Acquisition League Annual Conference 2018 is returning to Mumbai this May as part of the 2018 People Matters event series with the aim of bringing with it the best and the latest in the sphere of talent acquisition for the recruiting community.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Talent Acquisition: Fast Forward’ and the event will address the most poignant talent acquisition challenges, what’s next in TA, and will bring to the table recruiting strategies that work, and best practices on sourcing, assessment, engaging, hiring and onboarding.

One of the highlights of the event will be the keynote session spearheaded by top global recruitment influencer, Matt Alder. Matt Alder is a strategic consultant focusing on all aspects of HR technology, recruitment marketing, and employer branding. He is a globally recognized talent acquisition thought leader and a regular commentator on the future of work. Matt is also the host of the popular Recruiting Future Podcast.

Over the last sixteen years, Matt has helped deliver value for many employers by helping them connect to the best talent, improve ROI and develop successful digital, social and mobile talent acquisition marketing strategies. He also helps them make smarter technology procurement decisions and plan for the future of work.

Matt is also the author of the book “Exceptional Talent” which examines how changes in technology, communication and employee preferences are impacting the talent journey. It gives practical advice on how to build an effective recruitment and talent management strategy to meet the needs of business today and prepare for the challenges of the future.

In his session ‘Building exceptional organizations through Exceptional Talent,' Matt will share how to build an authentic employer brand, explore new ways of sourcing candidates and explains how to use print, digital, social and mobile platforms to target the right people in the right way.

Speaking to People Matters, Matt stated, "In the last ten years, Talent Acquisition has changed fundamentally. Advances in technology, global skill shortages, and evolving communication preferences have all played a part in this recruiting revolution. Employers who aren't thinking differently about talent sourcing are likely to be losing out on finding, engaging and recruiting the talent they need."

In his session, Matt will explain what companies need to be doing to acquire "Exceptional Talent" and showcase examples of talent acquisition innovation from a selection of global employers.

Matt would also be conducting a masterclass on ‘The Recruitment Tool: Content Marketing.' In this session, he will touch upon how recruitment is inextricably intertwined with marketing and is “THE” tool to engage with potential candidates. He will delve into the fundamentals of an effective talent acquisition content marketing strategy-the steps, planning and toolkits to create a content marketing plan for one’s organization.

In addition to Matt’s session, over the course of the day, delegates will also hear from CEOs and CHROs from a variety of business sectors and industries, on everything from recruitment tech to AI and intelligent automation in recruitment.

Know more about such trends at the People Matters Talent Acquisition League Annual Conference 2018 on 30th May which will seek to address the most poignant talent acquisition challenges, what’s next in TA, and how AI and machines are becoming matchmakers for recruiters today.
