ABP News Network has appointed an ex-DHFL executive to head its HR division.

ABP News Network has appointed Kavita Dasan as its new HR Head. Prior to ABP, Dasan was working with DHFL as Vice-President, Human Resources. 

On her appointment, Avinash Pandey, CEO, ABP News Network, was quoted in media saying that  “I would like to extend a hearty welcome to Kavita at ABP News Network. Her vast experience in talent development, organizational culture and change management will ensure that we have the right expertise in place. I’m looking forward to working with her in helping our talent flourish and build capabilities for the future.”

Dasan comes with extensive experience of over 21 years and has worked with organizations like DHFL, ZEE Entertainment, DCM Shriram, Times Internet, Bennett, Coleman & Co., etc.

At DHFL, Dasan was responsible for the design, delivery, and execution of core HR programs and practices for workforce base of 10,000 plus spread across the country. She was overseeing strategic and operational HR issues and representing specific geographical complexity or market needs. 

She was also responsible for ensuring implementation and application of agreed upon HR processes, systems, policies and programs, leading escalation and resolution of employee relation matters. 

Dasan completed her graduation from B. com from Delhi University in 1998 and further specialization in Human resources from IIM Ahmedabad. She has also been awarded twice with the National Award for Excellence in Talent Management.
