Biscuit maker Britannia Industries Ltd has promoted two executives to senior roles in marketing and business strategy and is hiring a sales chief from Vodafone India Ltd, as new managing director Varun Berry strengthens his management team. Britannia has created two new positions to reward executives. Manjunath Desai, head of consumer insights, will now take on the role of vice-president, strategy and business development, and Anuradha Narasimhan, who was previously marketing director, will now become vice-president, marketing.
