Ex-Bosch head of engineering Pradeep Kumar Keloth joins Skill-Lync

Engineering edtech start-up Skill-Lync has appointed former Bosch head of engineering (EV Topics), Pradeep Kumar Keloth, as the principal architect for its electric vehicle (EV) domain. 

As the in-house domain expert, Keloth will play a key role in developing world-class learning material on fundamental and advanced topics in EV for freshers and experienced engineers to address the needs of the rapidly growing EV OEM, supplier, and engineering services market in India and globally.

As a part of Skill-Lync’s strategy to scale up operations and offerings in the EV space, it aims to deliver relevant skills and expertise to aspiring and experienced engineers through carefully designed courses and expert support from in-house faculty. 

Keloth will be responsible for developing courses on advanced concepts such as EV motor, Motor controller, Battery pack ,  BMS system , model-based system engineering, electric vehicle thermal management, functional safety, EV charging from smart grid and more. These unique offerings will help accelerate the careers of students and young professionals in the EV industry and grow the overall size and skill-level of the EV talent pool in India.

An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the areas of systems, modeling, and simulation, in automotive and other industry verticals, Keloth recently retired from Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solution Pvt Ltd (RBEI) as head of department for Electrification overseeing System engineering, Simulation, Controls, and Software Development for Electrification Products and Solutions. He was also responsible for two Centre Of Excellence initiatives  in the field of electrification.

For students all around the world, Skill-Lync offers industry-relevant courses in mechanical, electrical, electronics, civil, computer science, and biomedical engineering fields. It focuses on assisting engineers in obtaining skilled engineering positions by ensuring that they are technically competent and skilled. With this appointment, the startup wants to enable students to build deep technical expertise across the evolving EV market and make students industry-ready.

The edtech startup recently announced it had achieved an annual revenue runrate (ARR) of $ 40 million, growing over 4x growth in the last five months.
