After working with the transportation and logistics company Blue Dart for more than a decade, Sr VP & Head HR Barttanu Das has stepped down from his role. The HR veteran has started his new innings with Larsen & Toubro and currently posted as Head of Human Resources for L&T Constructions (Heavy Civil Infrastructure – Independent Company (IC), at Chennai.

 In his previous role, Barttannu was responsible for strategic HR plans, employee engagement, competency development and alignment of HR strategy business.

Barttanu also had a small stint with the paint company, Shalimar Paints for six months in the year 2013 as Chief People Officer, where he was responsible for overall HR practices and process. 

Apart from Blue Dart and Shalimar paints, in his twenty-eight years of career, he has worked with companies such as NTPC and Reliance Industries. 

He was associated with various professional bodies such as Bombay Chambers of commerce ( HRM Committee) as Vice-chairman, Delhi HRD Network as Core Committee member, DMA . Currently, he is on the Board of National HRD Network( NHRDN) as Regional President-West.
