Outplacement provider RiseSmart has elevated Joel Paul to General Manager of RiseSmart India. In his new role, Paul will oversee RiseSmart’s in-country commercial, operational, and financial results, reporting directly to Dan Davenport, President and General Manager, RiseSmart.

On his appointment, RiseSmart President Dan Davenport stated, “We’re really proud of what’s been built and what we have today in India – both in operations and in engineering. Joel’s efforts have been key to our rapid growth, visibility and adoption among some of the biggest brands in the region.”

Since operations began in India in 2008, Joel Paul has been a key contributor in the establishment and rapid growth of RiseSmart India to a team of more than 100 people. Paul has been instrumental in helping the company expand from a global technology and support center to offering the full complement of outplacement to some of the largest companies in India. 

In his elevated role, Paul has the responsibility of continuing to expand the RiseSmart business in India and will have P&L accountability, including overseeing the sales and client services teams.
