Chef and SpringPeople collaborates to double the number of IT professionals to 15,000

SpringPeople announced that it has partnered with Chef, the leader in DevOps, to offer comprehensive training on industry-leading DevOps tools and practices throughout India. Recently Chef had gone 100 percent open-source as the company considered that, the best way for building software is to collaborate in public with individuals who are actually using it. With this partnership, SpringPeople will be able to equip Indian IT to become fully fledged DevOps experts.

Chef is the leader in DevOps and one of the most sought-after DevOps tools globally. It helps the IT industry to automate and build applications faster and meet the demands of the customers. Deployed broadly in production by the Global 5000, Chef is also used by more than half of the Fortune 500.

This partnership would enable SpringPeople to develop a big pool of Chef engineers who are capable of winning Chef projects from multinational companies and the global space.

Commenting on the partnership, Ravi Kaklasaria, Founder & CEO, SpringPeople said, “As we can see, globally the demand for DevOps has been rising. Several factors such as the rising need for fast and continuous application delivery, increasing complexities in apps, apps functioning in the dynamic IT environment and the like are responsible for this demand. Enterprise adoption of emerging technologies such as AI and ML is only going to fuel this demand. This partnership would help us to meet this demand head-on.”

Elaborating on the significance of this partnership, Vikram Ghosh, Vice President of Business Development, Chef said, “Chef is excited to partner with SpringPeople to help DevOps and DevSecOps professionals gain skills that are essential to building rewarding and lasting careers in an environment where most companies are being run as Coded Enterprises.”
