Infosys inducts three into its key decision-making group

Infosys said it has appointed Ranganath D Mavinakere, Binod Hampapur Rangadore and Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan as members of the executive council, the key decision-making group at the Bangalore company, Economic Times reported.

Infosys said it has appointed Ranganath D Mavinakere, Binod Hampapur Rangadore and Nithyanandan Radhakrishnan as members of the executive council, the key decision-making group at the Bangalore company, Economic Times reported.

Two of the new additions, Mavinakere and Rangadore will drive the “cost optimization” and “new global delivery model” initiatives respectively from the chairman's office, the core group of advisors for NR Narayana Murthy, the retired cofounder who was recalled as executive chairman in June.  The new executives will likely play a key role in the implementation of the turnaround strategy formulated by Murthy who returned to the company after nearly two years of industry underperformance by India's second-largest software services exporter.
