Deepak Parekh bats for education funding

HDFC Chairman, Deepak Parekh, has termed India’s 3 percent GDP spending on education has low and has called upon the government and corporates to increase investments in education. Parekh believes that investments in education will, in turn, have an impact on productivity and corporation will be able to maximise the demographic dividend.            HDFC has started an initiative called HDFC School for the education of children.
