IIM Calcutta gets AMBA accreditation

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) has received accreditation for its PGPEX and PGP programmes by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for five years. This accreditation helps benchmark the programmes globally, which not only contributes to IIM-C students getting better recognition abroad but also helps attract foreign students and tie-ups with leading international B-schools. Andrew Main Wilson, AMBA's chief executive said in a release: "AMBA accredits just 1% of the world's MBA business schools and IIM Calcutta's initial 5-year accreditation reflects the quality of their MBA programmes, faculty and students.
