V. Shankar CEO of Standard Chartered’s middle east, Africa, and the Americas CEO has quit the company to pursue other interests. He is credited to have built the bank’s Indian business. He has decided to start a private equity fund focused on South Asia, South East Asia, Middle East and Africa.
