It is planning to add close to 100 people as lateral hiring and close to 40 to 100 people as campus hiring includes engineers and master’s degree every year from last two years.

Online automobile company Droom is planning to hire two hundred employees in the coming six months. Currently, the company has a workforce of 350 employees.

It is planning to add close to 100 people as lateral hiring and close to 40 to 100 people as campus hiring includes engineers and master’s degree every year from last two years.

Earlier this year Droom introduced global internship programme under which company hosted interns from top colleges of 8 different countries such as USA, UK, Canada, Singapore etc.

Talking to People Matters, Sandeep Aggarwal, Founder, and CEO, Droom,  said "We are a technology company and always more focused on hiring product and engineering candidates from some of the top campuses of India like IITs, IIMs, ISBs etc. We have substantial plans for expansion and recruitment in the next few months and we also have close to 100 open headcounts in engineering, product, marketing, category management, and other support departments."

Droom has 106 open headcounts for laterals and it is planning to bring 100 interns mix of Engineers, MBAs and global interns. The startup is hiring from- IIM's Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIM Shillong, IIM Kashipur IIFT, NSIT etc

Product management, strategy, marketing, International, business development, analytics, category management, HR, Legal, and Finance are some of the key roles the company is looking for. On the engineering side, the company will hire developers, front-end engineers, network operations and quality assurance.
