Digital wallet and financial services platform, True Balance is looking to strengthen its technology team by hiring top talent from leading Indian educational institutes like IITs, IIMs, ISB, XLRI, BITS amongst others.

As per a media report, the Gurugram based startup is looking at hiring 80-100 people in the next six months for its technology team across verticals like business development, product, technology, marketing, compliance and design. Currently, it has around 110 employees.

With new recruitments, the startup aims to strengthen its existing mobile payment services as well as expand into new domains of need-based financial services.

Charlie Lee, CEO, True Balance stated, “We are looking for candidates with strong analytic skills along with language technology experience to help build a robust technology team. We have grown phenomenally in the past year and we are preparing to scale our services rapidly going forward. Hiring top talent will give impetus to our brand's growth trajectory and will help us provide better financial services to the next billion Indian users.”

The move comes a month after the fintech startup raised $23 Mn in Series B2 funding last month.

Razorpay opens up 200 new positions

Similarly, another fintech startup Razorpay has opened 200 new positions to ramp up its technology and sales teams and is aiming to touch 350 people in the current fiscal year.

The start-up recently launched an outdoor hiring campaign ‘Un-Cramp your Career’ targeting those with over three years of experience in the roles of product designers, back-end and front-end developers, mobile developers, engineering managers and sales leads.

Harshil Mathur, co-founder and CEO, Razorpay, told media, “We are building our league of next-gen tech payment solutions to help simplify payments for businesses and aim to scale these solutions to new sectors and industries pan India. To support this growth, we are making quality additions to our team and will continue to create an environment for people to up-skill, get ahead and develop successful careers at Razorpay.”
