Tea workers demand wage revision
Trade unions in twenty seven organisations representing tea garden workers in Bengal have taken out several processions demanding wage revisions. The workers are demanding wage revision and implementation of the Minimum Wages Act for tea garden workers. A total of 3.5 lakh workers in north Bengal are affected by the lack of wage revisions.
