Prem Parameswaran, the former global head of media and telecommunications investment banking at Jefferies Group, is being named global chief financial officer at Indian film company Eros International Plc, a person with knowledge of the matter said. Parameswaran, 46, also will be president of Eros’s US operations, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing private information. A formal announcement will come later on Thursday, the company confirmed through a spokesman. Parameswaran left Jefferies in February and will begin his job at Eros 9 June, the person said. Eros’s current CFO, Andrew Heffernan, is taking a leave of absence.
