Infosys rejects claims of hiring discrimination in US

Country's second-ranked software exporter Infosys faces a new lawsuit from an American job applicant who was rejected, Economic Times reported. The candidate, Brenda Koehler, has alleged the company discriminated against her nationality and hired a Bangladeshi national for the same position.

Country's second-ranked software exporter Infosys faces a new lawsuit from an American job applicant who was rejected, Economic Times reported. The candidate, Brenda Koehler, has alleged the company discriminated against her nationality and hired a Bangladeshi national for the same position.

The fresh lawsuit comes after Infosys got a breather when the US courts dismissed a lawsuit against it by former employee Jay Palmer. Koehler has filed class-action suit against Infosys alleging that its hiring policies discriminate against American workers in favour of those of South Asian descent in violation of US laws.
