Khadi India to create 13 lakh jobs

Khadi India is expecting the jobs creation through village industries, honey mission and from the Kumbhar Sashaktikaran Mission by March 2020.
Khadi India to create 13 lakh jobs

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is planning to generate around 13.83 lakh jobs in coming two years through different schemes. 

KVIC has presented its vision document to Ministry of MSME which suggest the creation of over 11.3 lakh jobs under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme and another 48000 jobs will be created by Khadi and remaining 24,000 jobs by the 'Solar Vastra' during the period of two years. 

KVIC Chairman, Vinai Kumar Saxena has thanked the government for giving the timely approvals. Overall the organization has created around 18 lakh jobs until September 2018 and planning to create around 13 lakh jobs from November 2018 to March 2020. 

Khadi India is expecting the jobs creation through village industries, honey mission and from the Kumbhar Sashaktikaran Mission by March 2020. 

According to the available report more than 7.09 lakh jobs were created under the PMEGP scheme in the period of September 2014 and September 2018.
