Mindtree plans to fill senior team with external hires

According to an Economic Times report, technology services provider Mindtree is keen on outside talent for top rung. The $450 million company recently hired Paul Gottsegen from Infosys as head of marketing and strategy. It plans to fill a third of its senior leadership team with external hires.

According to an Economic Times report, technology services provider Mindtree is keen on outside talent for top rung. The $450 million company recently hired Paul Gottsegen from Infosys as head of marketing and strategy. It plans to fill a third of its senior leadership team with external hires.

Mindtree told ET that over 15 executives had joined in the recent past at various leadership levels in sales. In all, the company plans to induct leaders at the CXO level and at two levels below that. These would include executives leading sub-verticals and centres of excellence.

The ET report said that industry experts consider it to be a wise move as this will help the company go to the next level.
