Ness Digital Engineering, a digital and custom software engineering services firm, plans to hire about 1,000 employees for its India operations. 

The firm, which has opened a 1,00,000-sq ft facility in Hyderabad that can seat 850 people, will add 550 people at its Hyderabad facility and the rest at Bengaluru and Mumbai facilities. This will take the total to 3,000 by mid-2019.

The engineering services firm has opened the Orion facility in Hyderabad in partnership with S&P Global to support its growing Center of Excellence (CoE) for technology, data operations, and core business process talent in the region.

Vinay Rajadhyaksha, President and Global Chief Delivery Officer, Ness Digital Engineering, stated, “We have about 370 employees at the Hyderabad centre. We will add 550 more here.”

The new facility has technology labs to exclusively focus on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Machine Learning and DevOps innovation and solutions. It would work on evolving S&P Global’s products and platforms across varied business segments.

Globally the firm has 16 development centers, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad in India. The firm currently employs 4,000 professionals globally, including 2,000 in India.
