Cipla has named Dr. Raju Mistry as President and Global Chief People Officer (GCPO) of Cipla. In her role at Cipla, Raju will oversee Human Resources, and Administration and Facilities Management. She will be a member of the Management Council of Cipla, and will report to Umang Vohra, Managing Director & Global Chief Executive Officer.

Commenting on the appointment, Umang Vohra, Managing Director & Global Chief Executive Officer of Cipla stated, “We are delighted to welcome Raju to the Cipla family. In the last few years, Cipla has successfully worked towards strengthening its core, reiterating its values and focusing on building a future-ready organization. Raju brings with her the experience to continue the journey and help us reach new milestones.”

Raju is an accomplished and veteran HR leader with over 27 years of global experience across diverse sectors such as chemicals, pharma, FMCG, IT, engineering and textiles. Prior to joining Cipla, Raju was Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd. He stepped down from the company with effect from March 2019 and is now all set to start his new journey with Prabir Jha People Advisory as Founder and CEO. The venture's focus will be to offer strategic advice to clients of all hues in the complex domain of people, talent, leadership, coaching, culture, branding & transformation.
