Ola COO Vishal Kaul resigns

Online cab aggregator Ola’s COO, Vishal Kaul has resigned from the post. He is planning to move on to join a new organization according to his statement.

In an emailed statement to People Matters, Kaul shares, “I have immensely enjoyed my stay at Ola. The company has been like a family to me.

I take great satisfaction and pride that I have been part of the journey where Ola has exhibited strong growth, improved profitability and gained significant market share. While I am moving on to another exciting career opportunity, I will deeply miss the Ola family.”

On his resignation, a spokesperson from Ola has shared, “Ola would like to thank Vishal Kaul for his invaluable contributions to the company. He has had a perfect inning. We at Ola wish him well for all his future endeavors. “

Kaul joined Ola last year in January 2017. He replaced Pranay Jivrajika who was elevated as the founding partner. Prior to Ola, Kaul was working with PepsiCo. He joined PepsiCo in 1999, has been Vice-President (marketing), Vice-President (business operations) and most recently, General Manager (Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos). He comes with an impressive experience of over 18 years. He is an alumnus of Punjab Engineering College and Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD.
