Netflix's Director, International Originals & Acquisitions steps down

Swati Shetty, Netflix's Director, International Originals and Acquisitions has stepped down from her role. Swati was leading the content for Netflix, and she was associated with the OTT platform since last two years.

Confirming the news to People Matters, Netflix said, "Yes, we can confirm that Swati Shetty has decided to leave Netflix."

Before joining Netflix, Swati Shetty was the Founder, Director for Samosa Stories. In her previous stint, she has also worked for entertainment company Balaji Telefilms as President. At Balaji Telefilms she was responsible for all strategic decisions of the business, building a compelling slate of films, and seeing them through. 

Swati Shetty is a media veteran who has worked with multinational companies such as Disney, Star, and ABC Television Group.
