Soon, mandatory fitness tests for flight attendants

Currently, flight attendants in India have to go through airline-specific medical tests. Those seeking to clear the Class 2 test prescribed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) have to undergo electrocardiography, blood, eye, blood pressure and diabetes tests, besides chest X-rays and assessment of body mass index, said a DGCA official who didn’t want to be named.
