B Capital Group appoints Sandi Sadek as Partner & Chief People Officer

As the new Chief People Officer of a multi-stage global investment firm, Sandi Sadek will be in charge of developing the internal people development initiatives for B Capital’s over 130 global employees and focus on helping the team scale to attract diverse talent globally. She will also advise B Capital’s 120+ portfolio companies on their leadership and talent initiatives.

Sadek is also the co-founder of an entrepreneurial venture floweraddict.com which has been rated for three consecutive years as ‘Singapore’s Leading Online Florist’. Her expertise in this venture and her location in Asia puts her right in the middle of B Capital’s rapidly expanding presence in the region.

Mindtree appoints Suresh Bethavandu as Chief People Officer

Former Cognizant Executive Suresh Bethavandu replaces Paneesh Rao as Mindtree's Chief People Officer, effective 1st December, 2021. Paneesh takes on a new role of Global Head of Sustainability (E.S.G) at Mindtree. 

Suresh comes with 30 years of experience in human resources. He has worked with companies like Cognizant and Wipro in a variety of roles, including talent acquisition, talent supply chain and corporate HR. In his most recent role at Cognizant, Suresh was heading the global talent acquisition function for key markets including North America, Latin America, Europe, India and the Asia Pacific. He describes himself as strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. 

Mcapital appoints Rohit Agrawal as Chief Executive Officer

Mcapital, the lending arm of Mswipe, appointed Rohit Agrawal as Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Rohit will expand Mswipe’s core payments business by building a robust merchant financing and small loans vertical through Mcapital. 

He will also oversee the adaptation of innovative technology in creating new credit products for SMEs. Rohit’s appointment is a crucial step towards strengthening the core leadership team at Mswipe. 

OYO hires ex-SBI chairman Rajnish Kumar as Strategic Group Advisor

OYO has announced the appointment of  Rajnish Kumar, who has spent over 40 years in the financial sector with SBI, as Strategic Group Advisor of the company. Rajnish who joined the bank as a probationary officer in 1980 and retired as a chairman in October 2020, will be tasked with a key role in advising the management on short term and long term strategy, regulatory and stakeholder engagements, and enhancing our brand globally.
