Intel India offers Rs 5.7 lakh Ph.D. fellowship programme

Intel, the world's largest chipmaker, today announced a fellowship of Rs 5.7 lakh to enhance Ph.D. programmes and boost quality research in India. The Intel Ph.D. sponsorship programme will provide research opportunities for students in cutting edge technology and a platform for sharing industry knowledge and mentoring from senior technology leaders at the chipmaker, the company said in a release. Selected candidates will be awarded a fellowship of up to Rs 5.7 lakh for a period of up to four years and includes student stipend, contingency research and a travel grant to attend conferences and research forums.
