Infosys R&D head Subrahmanyam Goparaju quits

According to an Economic Times report, Subrahmanyam Goparaju, senior vice president and head of Infosys Labs, the research unit of Infosys has resigned, the company said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday. He has been with Infosys for nearly 25 years. Raju headed the Intellectual Property Cell and was responsible for the company's research and development strategy, the report added.

Goparaju's exit follows several senior-level departures from Infosys since co-founder NR Narayana Murthy returned to the company in June as the executive chairman, in bid to get the company's growth back on track.
