In an unexpected turn of events, Wilfried Aulbur. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mercedes-Benz India put in his papers to pursue a new career within India only. Aulbur served five years at the Head of the Indian operations of the German car-maker and was instrumental in making Mercedes-Benz the top selling car in the luxury segment after BMW surpassed its sales last year. It is speculated that Aulbur will completely move out of the automotive sector and will explore new career options in India.
