NHRD suggests flexi work model to combat pink slips

In order to save both the companies and employees from undergoing the agonizing experience of retrenchment during times of economic crisis, HR Think-Tanks like National Human Resource Development (NHRD) Network are formulating a new model called ‘flexible work force.’ This new model aims to prevent fiction between the employees and the owners by giving them more time to look for alternative options while still on job. According to NS Rajan, NHRD, expressed hope that this new model would bring retrenchment of employee to a logical conclusion. He also said that since HR becomes the first casualty during illogical job cutting exercises, measures should be taken to stop it.
