Skilling and education company, NIIT Ltd. has diversified its business model by moving into the non-IT space. A Live Mint article reports that NIIT announced the opening of its first cloud campus on to provide education in management, finance, and social media marketing.

NIIT hopes that the non-IT business line will account for 60% of its business in the next five years. Some of NIIT’s courses, such as GNIIT, were popular a few years back as there were fewer engineering colleges in India. That has changed drastically with the country seeing the opening of several engineering colleges in the last few years.
