India has leap-frogged US in some technologies such as mobile. Also, India has a very rich talent pool of technology professionals, and the future is even brighter. In India’s elementary education scene, the emphasis is on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and this will only enrich that talent pool.
In the US, there is a talent gap in technology or engineering jobs, which is being (and will be) fulfilled by immigrants from India and other Asian countries.
