Many organizations are talking about increasing their women participation at their workplaces. Women often find it difficult to carry a job due to various reasons -- marriage, children, transfers, and many other factors. However, although the Government and organizations are doling out benefits for women, we need to delve a little bit deeper to know what is the problem. It starts from education -- a girl child is often ignored when it comes to getting the proper education. And the most over-used term for not giving them the freedom is "what will you do with education? You have to get married and bear children." There are several organizations who are, in their own way fighting this thought-process. Because once you educate a girl child, it makes way for the financial freedom and they become self-sufficient in more ways than one.
