Manjit Singh becomes President of Sony Pictures

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) has named Manjit Singh as the President. He will report to Michael Lynton who is the CEO of Sony Entertainment Inc. and Amy Pascal who is the Co Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment. He was the CEO of Sony's operating company Multi Screen Media. Singh's focus will be reduction of overhead costs and growth of high margin businesses.
