Infosys aims to overhaul top layer

The IT-giant Infosys has recently seen many departures at the top management positions, the latest being the departure of Ashok Vemuri, head of financial services and Americas. Infosys clearly indicated that the company is determined to overhaul the top management layer to add more operational acumen to the firm. Narayan Murthy comments that, “the company required the influx of visionaries for creating the capabilities for the long haul.”

Globalisation and service transformation are two of the company’s largest challenges, and the company consequently requires global and transformative leadership capabilities.
