Intense competition for pilot jobs

In the airspace sector, qualified pilots are fighting for jobs. Indigo recently announced 250 pilot positions in its fleet and it received 4,000 applications. In addition, there is also a requirement for pilots from AirAsia, Vistara, and Spicejet. This is a healthy trend in the aviation sector compared to the situation two years back when pilots were laid off, especially after Kingfisher was grounded.
