A paradigm shift in employees' roles: Ritu Anand

Technological advancements and social networking at the workplace mean new age systems with the ability to scale up to the needs of a dynamic changing environment. This will result in a paradigm shift in the role of employees. From merely performing the function, the focus will move to innovation and challenging the limits. It is imperative that organizations create ecosystems where employees are encouraged to nurture an entrepreneurial spirit, which would ensure harnessing their potential, which in turn will lead to better solutions and quality of output. Leaders will be responsible for managing complex networks of virtual teams. They will be engaged in creating solutions for global challenges visualizing and architecting change. A leader will have to be involved in building capability, which is sustainable in the long run. A diverse network both internal and external will be crucial for success. An intuitive and collaborative approach holds the key to managing talent.
