This sounds true in today’s scenario as the IT professionals in the tech hub Bangalore are battling global downturn with the help of doctors. “Layoff Survivor Syndrome” is the name given to this constant fear of losing a job when one sees layoff happening around them. The mental situation has been divided into two categories one is the anxiety that they might be the next one and the other is of those who have already lost their jobs. UNITES (Union of Information Technology-Enabled Services-professional) advices employers to help their staff to deal with this trauma and also help them to find an alternate way of earning their livings.
