Loyola Institute of Business Administration, a Jesuit institution established under the Loyola College Society, Chennai, is a reputed institute in the business education domain. It offers a full-time and a part-time PGDM, a doctoral programme, an executive diploma programme and certificate programmes. It accepts CAT and XAT scores followed by group discussions and personal interviews, with the cut-offs ranging from 75-80 percentile. In addition to the core courses, the students can take up dual specialization in Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Systems, General Management, Operations and International Business.

The faculty are highly qualified and with a diverse industry experience to practice competent and practical teaching. The institute encourages that the faculty is engaged in comprehensive research, consultation and publications. The students at LIBA come from variety of backgrounds and the institute receives a sizable number of fresh graduates and working professionals. The students are nurtured to be all-rounders and successful leaders. LIBA periodically revamps the curriculum and methodology and offers experience-based learning such as Outbound Learning, Inward Journey, Rural Experience, etc.
