TheL&D Leadership League is the first of its kind initiative for leadership & development leaders that aims at taking the talent management function to the next level of business alignment. The year-long initiative will include a series of events across India, monthly newsletters on thought leadership and webinar series to promote sharing of new-age practices in this space, all exclusive for recruitment leaders. These activities will then culminate into a signature annual event, which will bring together L&D Leaders from across the country to learn, share and celebrate this strategic function. This League is a People Matters initiative which is aimed at promoting knowledge enhancement and development of this esteemed group.

Session 1: Learning & Development: Emerging Trends in 2013-14
This session will focus on the varied innovations in the learning approaches and the role of on-demand learning to support a dynamic workplace. Through the discussion, panelists will share best practices in innovative learning strategies that have worked for many as well as showcase associated challenges and opportunities.
Session 2: Accelerating Leadership Development
This session will have an expertiential approach where participants will actively engage to derive learning from experiences. The session facilitator will take the participants through activities to identify and understand the 15 types of relevant experiences. It will showcase a 3D approach for balanced leadership development along with methods of using experiences to overcome the leadership talent gap.
Session 3: Designing Sustainable Learning
The session will include a corporate case study presentation to showcase methods & approaches that have contributed to making learning interventions sustainable.
Session 4: Challenging the lazy model
The session has been designed to present new learning methods adopted by progressive organizations that has made the L&D function more effective.
