ABC Consultants appoints new CHRO

Recruitment Company ABC Consultants has appointed senior industry leader Rachna Saxena as their CHRO.

Before joining ABC Consultants, she was working with Prevolve as Managing Director. She worked with Prevolve for three years and led various projects such as BOT for HR (Build, Own, Operate and Transfer).

Shiv Agrawal, Managing Director of ABC Consultants, wrote an exclusive post on Saxena’s innings with the company. He mentioned how she battled her way through cancer and why he believes in second chance.

He wrote when Rachna Saxena heard that she is suffering from the third stage of cancer, it was very difficult for her. Her new venture was taking off, but she was forced to take a career break.

He further mentioned that she wanted to restart her corporate career but didn’t know where to begin. She hoped companies would value her skills & not judge her for her career break or her illness.

Agrawal added, “This is when we met over coffee. A few minutes into the conversation, I was convinced of her can-do spirit, resilience & skills. She deserved a second chance. We offered her a flexi-work arrangement to begin with and eventually a full-time role as she eased her way back into the workplace. We are happy to share that Rachna Saxena, our proud 'Cancer Survivor' joined us as our ‘Chief Human Resources Officer’ last week.”

He concluded by sharing that career breaks ‘happen’ but we should take the time to appreciate why they happen & wherever possible, give someone deserving an opportunity to start their life again.

Rachna Saxena has worked with various companies such as Dainik Bhaskar, Aegis Group and National Geographic Channel.
