To strengthen the energy practice in the energy transition and clean energy areas and strengthen its expanding footprint in India, Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has appointed Santosh Kamath as Managing Director.

Kamath who holds an engineering degree from IIT Bombay and a management degree from IIM Bangalore, comes with over 23 years of experience advising clients across the energy value chain.

He helps governments shape policy, counsels on investors’ investment decisions, and advises corporates and new energy companies on strategies for delivering value to their stakeholders. Before joining A&M, Kamath was a partner in KPMG’s energy practice, specializing in the renewable energy sector.
