Deloitte South Asia has appointed Anand Shankar as the new chief strategy and transformation officer, effective November 1.

Anand brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having had a successful tenure with the Tata Group over the last 2.5 years. Earlier, he worked with Deloitte as partner-leader HR transformation from April 2018 to June 2021.

He started his career with the Taj Group of Hotels as food and beverage manager in 1988. Hewitt Associates, Talent2 International, and Aon Hewitt are other organisations where he worked previously in various capacities.
