Eightfold.ai has announced the appointment of Sandesh Goel as the Managing Director for India operations. The creator of the Talent Intelligence Platform recently saw a period of significant growth including major partnership announcements and Series C fundraising that took the total investment in the company to more than $55 Mn. 

Under Goel’s leadership, the company plans to provide the Eightfold AI platform to enterprise businesses in the India market while he also helps the business operations to expand across the country. 

“Sandesh brings a wealth of team building, customer and sales management experience and valuable knowledge to the team,” said Ashutosh Garg, CEO & Co-founder, Eightfold.ai. “With Sandesh on board, we are confident of expanded outreach in India and across the region.”

During his initial years as a professional, Goel was in the US, building innovative products and teaming up with other renowned engineers. For the next decade or so, he was leading high performance IT teams for different organizations. He has worked with many startups and helped drive key technology initiatives at Marvell, Cisco, Aruba HPE. 

“Right talent is critical for any organization. Throughout my career, I have learnt that a great hire can make all the positive difference and a bad hire can be a huge drain on companies’ time and revenue,” said Sandesh Goel, via a press statement. 

With more than 65 US patents in the sphere of wireless networking, Goel said he is looking forward to working with a team of technology enthusiasts and play a role in integrating the latest technologies like AI to re-define HR operations. 

“Artificial intelligence has already stated automating numerous repetitive processes smart work by analysing big data to identify and leverage new opportunities in almost all sectors. As HR is a strategic business function, we believe there is a vast scope to adapt to newer technologies,” Goel added.
